The region "The Heart of NSW" was created in 2001 as a result of a number of communities working together to develop a Strategic Plan for their future. Encompassing Lachlan Shire and extending to the Kidman, Newell, Barrier and Mitchell Highways this 'accessible outback' area includes the towns and villages of Albert, Bogan Gate, Burcher, Euabalong,  Condobolin, Fifield, Lake Cargelligo, Tottenham, Trundle and Tullamore.

Rich in diversity and history, travelling to the "Heart of NSW" is an experience not to be missed.
